Though this series is classed as of it's time, namely the late 50s early 60s I tend to think they still have something about them that is so contemporary - maybe it is the scenes depicted; lovers on a beach, teenagers hanging out in cafes. Universal daily situations that are sure to recur. Of course they are typically American, but they are such strong images. They freeze time and captivate you, demand another look but this time longer. Great stuff!

Brooklyn Gang II
