Colette

Colette
By Irving Penn

A particularly intimate and revealing portrait of the writer Colette. At first glance not so obvious, but when you are aware if the fact that Colette would never dare to bare her forehead the portrait has more relevance.

It takes on a strange quality, baring more than her soul: baring the naked flesh of her forehead.
