Lovely Linda

Parallelograms, released in 1970 by Linda Perhacs.

A fragile flow throughout this whole entrancing and unique album, that works on so many levels.
'Hey, now who really cares' and 'If you were my man' particular favourites. Linda's voice has a pure quality and is somehow soothing. Recently praised by the likes of Devendra Barnhart the album has been labelled a folk masterpiece. The experimental element is still so fresh for me today . Talks of a new album leave me, dare I say it slightly dubious. Of course I hope to be proved wrong.

On a lighter note Parallelograms recalls sunnier climes, gentle breezes in some open top car, a touch mystical and ever captivating.
