Unable to recall the source of the quote
whether from a book/magazine/person,
but it went along the lines
'when you pass someone on the streets of Paris
more often then not
they will look you in the eye
there is a confrontation'
unlike other cities
you pass without 'regarde'
you pass as one of the many
unnoticed.
