Behind the mask

As always the comparisons continue. Arbus' later and controversial piece of work somewhat mirros this vintage picture. Despite the obvious fact both the subjects depicted are wearing masks there is something uncanny about the two. Though I would want neither on my wall I cannot help but stare and contemplate them.
