And so now I am wondering how many photographers actually printed their own work and, moreover why all images do not state the printer that laboured and scrutinized every detail...
I guess it is not at the forefront of importance.
I do recall the fact that Neil Selkirk was responsible for printing a lot of Arbus' late work. Although she did print the majority of her work, and this undoubtedly ensures the value of the print which can go for a substantially 'nicer' hefty sum. Good for the Arbus Estate no doubt.
